Air
Cha Am is just 150km south of Bangkok. Since it is just a small provincial
town, there is no direct airflight to Cha Am. However visitors can take a
taxi or limousine from the Bangkok International Airport which is available 24/7
and the fares range from about 1,500 baht to 3,000 baht..
Car
If you are adventurous enough, you may rent a car from one of the several car
rentals in Bangkok. From Bangkok, drive along Highway No.35 (Thonburi-Pak
Tho) passing Samut Sakhon,
Samut Songkram and then Highway No.4 to Petchaburi, a total distance of 123 km.
And remember, the Thais drive on the left side of the road.
Bus
Both air conditioned and non air-conditioned express buses depart from Southern Bus
Terminal (Sai Tai) for Cha Am daily. The fare is approximately

Train
Visitors can take trains from either Hua Lamphong Railway Station or Bangkok Noi
Railway Station, but you need to make sure which train stops at Cha Am since
more trains stop at Hua Hin which is about 20 minutes south of Cha Am. It
takes approximately 3-4 hours to get to Cha Am from Bangkok. Cha Am Railway
Station is located about 2km from the beach and ample of taxi and motorbike services
